Preparations to go home

Four more days left to fly home to our beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington State. It is very confusing to pack ONE suitcase for two and a half months... I will be teaching in three states with totally different winter temperatures, Texas, Oregon and Washington. Than we also will be in California visiting our children. Someone has suggestions what to pack? :-)...let's alone the painting supplies and the books I like to have too :-)! Oh, please grant me wisdom!
